Julie Fox, our Engage Project Coordinator, recently led a group of Smartphone Photography participants on a creative journey through Hirst, Ashington. Their mission? To capture the essence of the area—its past, present, and future—for a special exhibition at Northumberland County Hall.
The collection showcases striking images of Hirst alongside heartfelt stories from local residents. Through their reflections, they share memories of growing up in the area, their thoughts on how it has evolved, and their hopes for its future.
