Need a volunteer for your organisation?
NCVA uses the volunteer matching system developed and run by Simply Connect to match your volunteering opportunities to potential volunteers.
How it works
- To submit an opportunity first you will need to register your organisation on the Simply Connect database. There’s a button on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Once you have registered and logged in the you can put your opportunity on their matching system.
- You fill in a form for your volunteering opportunity that enables you to list the kind of work involved, who or what the volunteer might be working with, any qualifications that might be required, the location of the opportunity and whether such things as DBS checks are required.
The more complete the description of the opportunity you submit, the more likely you will be to get the right match for your role.
Simple.
But what if we get no results?
It would be wrong of us to pretend that every submission will generate a volunteer or necessarily get you the right match, the database isn’t infallible or entirely comprehensive – but you still want to volunteer, right!
