January 2023
Arts and culture activities in schools and youth settings fund – 16th Jan
Arts and culture activities in schools and youth settings brings together two funds that both aim to encourage high quality arts provision for young people.
William Leech Charity Fund – 16th Jan
This call is to support volunteer-led work which helps people in poverty, especially those most affected by increases in cost of living. Examples of the kind of costs a grant could support include:
- continuing or expanding existing volunteering schemes, or setting up new ones;
- training, co-ordination and support costs for volunteers.
Middlemoor Wind Farm – 18th Jan
Priority will be given to applications that benefit individuals and communities within Eglingham. Applications from organisations located outside Eglingham will be considered as long as they are deemed to benefit the residents of the Parish.
The Bellingham Fund – 29th Jan
The fund primarily provides benefit to the Bellingham community, including Greenhaugh, Lane Head and Greystead areas, with support to this community prioritised over work elsewhere in the North Tyne Valley.
The P&G Fund – 30th Jan
Supporting vulnerable people with access to safe accommodation and addressing personal hygiene
The Ringtons Fund – 30th Jan
The purpose of the Ringtons Fund is to support charitable organisations working with people experiencing hardship and/or disadvantage it is keen to see applications supporting one or more of the following: – children; disability; family; older people; poverty, and women.
Hospital of God – 31st Jan
2023 grant funding round will have a particular focus on core funding of existing and new organisations and groups and also on projects that respond to the cost of living crisis.
February 2023
Northern Powergrid Fund – 6th Feb
Supports grassroots projects that strengthen vulnerable communities. This includes out-of-school educational activities and environmental activities in Tyne & Wear or Northumberland.
Greggs Foundation NE Core Fund – 10th Feb
The programme supports organisations in the North East of England in the counties of Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Durham and Teesside that work in the most disadvantaged neighbourhoods or organisations that support otherwise disadvantaged people, particularly those that support the following priority groups:
• People with disabilities
• Homeless people
• Voluntary carers
• Older and isolated people
The Newcastle Building Society Community Fund – 13th Feb
Supporting charities and constituted voluntary organisations across the North East of England and Cumbria
NCC Housing Developer Fund – 17th Feb
In certain areas of Northumberland (south east, former Tynedale and parts of the north), funds are collected and may be spent in specific geographical areas on a variety of sports, play and recreation projects.
The Squires Foundation Fund – 20th Feb
Tackling disadvantage in Newcastle, Northumberland, and North Tyneside
Barmoor Wind Farm – 20th Feb
Supporting community organisations within 10km of the Barmoor Wind Farm
Banks Community Fund – 26th Feb
Supports community and voluntary organisations and environmental projects which are located close to a Banks Group development, and which provide benefit to the local community.
The Ted Weekes Fund – 27th Feb
Children and young people’s projects in Seaton Sluice and New Hartley
The Frederick Milburn Fund – 27th Feb
Supporting projects connected with the River Tyne
The Robert Wood Trust Fund – 27th Feb
Supporting projects enhancing educational experiences of young people
Sir James Knott Trust – 28th Feb
The aim of the trust is to help improve the conditions of people living and working in the North East of England.
March 2023
Northumberland National Park Communities Fund – 23rd Mar
The Northumberland National Park Communities Fund provides grants of up to £2,000 of funding to projects, community groups, businesses, charities and organisations that wish to deliver a project which is in line with Northumberland National Park’s key aims and priorities.
Hadrian Trust – 29th Mar
Main donations are in the fields of social welfare, youth, disability, the elderly, women, ethnic minorities, education, arts and the environment.
