Bridge activities – developing personal skills and confidence

Bridge participants on programme are offered a range of new activities and events to support them in confidence building and wellbeing prior to seeking work or training. Activities offered range from ‘She can DIY’, taster into gardening, disc golf, yoga and photography.

Julie Fox, Activities Co-ordinator, Northumberland CVA says, “The activities have gone from strength to strength and we are receiving fantastic feedback from those taking part in weekly sessions. Many people come to Bridge without confidence or a sense of self worth, the activities are all about building confidence wellbeing and even basic fitness.”
