The Role
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software (Xero)
- Recording and monitoring spending of grant income
- Recording and reconciling petty cash and cash till transactions each month
- Completing VAT returns
- Allocating costs and receipts to budget lines and funds
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements with our transaction records
- Administrative duties in preparing accounts documentation for submission to accountants
- Preparing monthly management accounts and monthly cashflow predictions
- Assisting with preparation of budgets
- Miscellaneous financial management tasks including ad hoc financial reports
Salary
£13,750 (£27500 FTE).
Hours and terms
Part time – 2.5 days/week.
The role is based in our Hexham office but can incorporate a hybrid or home working element. As an organisation we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive workplace and will make all possible efforts to agree a mutually beneficial working pattern.
Appointment is subject to Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
