Bell View is a successful local charity based in Belford and covering North Northumberland.  Our mission is to support and enable older and vulnerable, disabled or disadvantaged people and those who care for them to “live well”.  We deliver services through our Charitable activities across the area, in our Resource Centre in Belford and through our two trading arms providing Help at Home and Day Care Services. We also partner with other charities and organisations.

As a trustee you will need a well-developed interest in the needs of older and vulnerable, disabled and disadvantaged people in a rural and socially isolated environment.  We are particularly looking for general business skills and financial understanding to support our growth and ideally skills in one or more of the following: Finance, Property, and/or Human Resources.  Previous involvement in charities and a knowledge of social care whilst not essential would be a benefit.
