Location: Hexham, St Mary’s Chare

Salary: £10.00 per hour

Hours: Up to 23.5 hours per week across 4 days (to include some Saturdays)

We are looking for someone to join our caring and dynamic team, which is working to change the lives of people with learning disabilities and metal health needs. The supervisors in Hextol Tans will help develop our volunteers’ skills, whilst running the café and kitchen.

We are an independent charitable company based in Hexham & Newcastle. Our purpose is to provide working opportunities to people with learning disabilities and/ormental health needs so they can develop their skills and self-esteem and grow in confidence, creating a positive impact on the quality of their lives. The Tans Cafe

The Hextol Tans Café is a vegetarian/vegan café which opened in 2016 and has grown in popularity as a result of the quality of food and service we provide. We open 6 days a week Monday –Saturday, our normal trading hours are 10am-3.30pm.

This is awonderful opportunity for someone with enthusiasm, dedication, the desire to help others, catering experience or a love of cooking. Working to make real and tangible differences to the lives of our volunteers. Commitment to the welfare and development of our beneficiaries is as important in the role as catering ability.
