Connected Voice is expanding its services and looking for a new member of our high performing Support and Development Team.

The aim of the development officer role is to deliver on the exciting North of Tyne Volunteering Project to create a volunteer area of excellence across Northumberland, North Tyneside and Newcastle by working in partnerships with voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in these areas.

The project partnership will focus on:

  • Developing innovative systems to support the effective recruitment and co-ordination of volunteers at scale
  • Developing a strong system of support and collaboration for neighbourhood-level activity
  • Developing and creating a strong enployee-volunteering space, enabling private sector organisations to support their local community

This is a great opportunity to help develop volunteering and our local VCSE sector become more resilient and to adapt to the changing needs of society because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

We have a blended working offer, which is a mix of home, office and community venue-based working where appropriate and safe to do so.
