Northumbria University is bringing together colleagues from its Health Sciences Department and Law School to provide organisations with practical information on how to re-open safely and legally during the Covid-19 pandemic.
With an emphasis on minimising the risks to the organisation, its employees and customers and to reduce potentially contributing to a second wave of infection, participants will hear from Nick Smith, Co-founder, Director and Head Brewer of The Steam Machine Brewing Company, who will share experiences and describe the steps the company has taken to continue trading during the Covid-19 crisis.
The session is the second opportunity to also hear from Wendy Pollock, Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health, and Angela Macfarlane, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business and Law. Wendy has expertise in viral infection, viral transmission and health and wellbeing, while Angela has extensive expertise in employment law.
