The Full Circle Food Project was established in 2013, to support people living in Northumberland with growing food, healthy eating on a budget, and helping people to live healthier lives. Full Circle Food offers ‘hands on’ experience of cultivating food, cooking from scratch, minimising waste and composting.

Current Projects:

• FEED ME –healthy cookery sessions for all ages

• GROW ON – time in our allotment or kitchen garden for individuals and groups

• GREEN FEET – supported access to local green spaces and woodland, to enable individuals to make use of natural ‘Green Gyms’ and to take part in environmental action.

We would like to recruit a part-time Project Worker, interested in the above type of work, to join our small team. You should have experience of working on similar community projects and feel confident in particular to deliver hands on cooking sessions with families.

You should have some gardening or food growing skills, but most of all, be passionate about healthy food production, improving wellbeing and tackling poverty.
