Woodhorn Charitable Trust is an independent charity which manages Woodhorn Museum, Berwick Museum and Art Gallery, Hexham Old Gaol, Hexham Moothall and Morpeth Chantry Bagpipe Museum. We exist to inspire, engage and connect people to Northumberland and its history by running a high-quality network of museums and archives across Northumberland that provide exciting and stimulating exhibitions, community, outreach and educational programmes. Many thousands of people each year either visit one of our sites or engage with our community projects or online resources. We have set ourselves a vision to be: A national cultural leader known for connecting people with Northumberland and its history to enrich communities and enhance individuals’ lives.
The Trust is registered as a charity No. 1129712 and a limited company No. 6893854.
As part of the Admin and Finance team you will pro-actively provide efficient administrative, financial and operational support services to Woodhorn Charitable Trust by assisting and carrying out a variety of tasks. To succeed you will need to be self-motivated, flexible, have a ‘hands on’ approach and the ability to work well under pressure, as part of a team or on your own initiative. Experience in administration ideally in the cultural sector will be advantageous.
