Age UK Northumberland is a values-led independent local charity which provides services for older adults, aged 50+, across Northumberland through the commitment and hard work of over 250 employees and 100 regular volunteers.

Integral to and common with all Age UK’s is our central free information, advice and advocacy service. Other complementary services and activities are designed to meet local needs and currently include: day care provision and extensive domiciliary personal care services, a range of exercise classes and activities as well as falls prevention classes, lunch clubs and a range of friendship groups.

With a new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer recently appointed this is a really exciting time to join the Senior Leadership Team at Age UK Northumberland. The Head of Income Generation and Marketing is a completely new post and the ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing professional motivated by achieving targets and delivering results. Someone who displays resilience when under pressure, and takes personal pride doing a job well who wants to support the delivery of a fantastic service user experience.

This post will be based at The Roundhouse in Ashington and the successful candidate will be required to undertake travel across Northumberland, therefore access to a car and a full driving licence is essential.
