Awards are made to voluntary and community groups and registered charities based and working in Northumberland.
The project must focus its work with children and young people aged 10 to 25. The application should explain what the organisation does to steer young people away from crime and anti-social behaviour and should also show how they are encouraged to be good citizens, either by volunteering, fundraising or engaging positively in their club and community. Awards also recognise work to support young people to overcome challenging lifestyles or turn their back on negative behaviour as a result of engaging with the group.
Awards of up to £750 are available.
Deadline is 9am on 26th January 2019. Full details on the Community Foundation's website
