NECPC/CPAG workshop: the future of the social security system

Category
Sector Training & Events
Date
19 March 2020 13:30 - 15:30
Venue
Committee Room 2, Ground Floor, County Hall, Durham DH1 5UQ

The social security system in the UK is not working. Over the last decade, child poverty has been rising, and it’s projected to rise even further in coming years.

This is why CPAG has launched a new project, Secure Futures for Children and Families, that will ask the question: What does a social security system that provides a secure future for children and families look like? https://cpag.org.uk/policy-and-campaigns/secure-futures-children-and-families

To inform their thinking CPAG is hosting a series of events, including this joint NECPC/CPAG workshop with frontline practitioners in the North East.

Book your place at: https://bit.ly/3bcaypE.  As space is quite limited, places are currently restricting to one person per organisation – and organisers would be grateful if you could RSVP by Thursday 5th March so that they can keep track of numbers. If you have any accessibility requirements, please indicate these in your reply.
